Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PDE2A mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PDE2A data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 9 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher PDE2A mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PDE2A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and HNSC show a favorable association.

CCRCC, LUAD, and PDAC are the cancer types where PDE2A mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
