PDE11A

Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PDE11A RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 11 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of PDE11A’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where PDE11A RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types PDE11A is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA and BRCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.

THCA, BRCA, and KIRC are the cancer types where PDE11A tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
