Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PDCD6IP mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PDCD6IP data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), where higher PDCD6IP mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PDCD6IP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and CCRCC show a favorable association.
GBM, PDAC, and HNSC are the cancer types where PDCD6IP mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
