Across TCGA patient cohorts, PCSK9 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 7,937 significant associations in total. COAD shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible PCSK9-associated genes across cancer lineages are ADM, P4HA1, and HMGCS1. Each is linked with PCSK9 in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PCSK9-to-partner and partner-to-PCSK9 results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, PCSK9 versus ADM in PDAC, with a Pearson correlation of 0.33.
