Across TCGA patient cohorts, PCSK9 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 20 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PCSK9-associated genes across cancer lineages are MEK1, Notch1, and Caspase-8. Each is linked with PCSK9 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PCSK9-to-partner and partner-to-PCSK9 results are reported.
