Across TCGA cell cohorts, PCSK9 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 3,722 significant associations in total. BONE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PCSK9-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Cholesterol biosynthetic process via desmosterol, Cholesterol biosynthetic process via lathosterol, and Central nervous system morphogenesis. Each is linked with PCSK9 in more than 7 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PCSK9-to-partner and partner-to-PCSK9 results are reported.
