Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PCOLCE RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PCOLCE data layer compared with 9 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher PCOLCE RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PCOLCE expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as DLBC and LUAD show a favorable association.

KIRC, UVM, and KICH are the cancer types where PCOLCE RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
