Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PCLO mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PCLO data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 14 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher PCLO mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PCLO expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and GBM show a favorable association.

UCEC, GBM, and PDAC are the cancer types where PCLO mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
