Across TCGA patient cohorts, PAPPA mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 94 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PAPPA-associated genes across cancer lineages are ASNS, 4E-BP1, and ATM. Each is linked with PAPPA in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PAPPA-to-partner and partner-to-PAPPA results are reported.
