Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PANK2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PANK2 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher PANK2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PANK2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA show a favorable association.
COAD, BLCA, and PRAD are the cancer types where PANK2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
