Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PAM Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PAM data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in rectum adenocarcinoma (READ), where higher PAM Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PAM expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
READ and LUSC are the cancer types where PAM Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
