Across TCGA patient cohorts, PAM mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 5,646 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PAM-associated genes across cancer lineages are MELK, TIPIN, and OPN1SW. Each is linked with PAM in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PAM-to-partner and partner-to-PAM results are reported.
