Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PAFAH1B1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PAFAH1B1 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher PAFAH1B1 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PAFAH1B1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and HNSC show a favorable association.

CCRCC, COAD, and HNSC are the cancer types where PAFAH1B1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
