Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PACRG mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PACRG data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher PACRG mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PACRG expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LSCC show a favorable association.
LUAD, UCEC, and LSCC are the cancer types where PACRG mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
