Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PACERR RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PACERR data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher PACERR RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PACERR expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA and HNSC show a favorable association.
KIRC, BLCA, and UVM are the cancer types where PACERR RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
