Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PAAF1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PAAF1 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher PAAF1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PAAF1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
CESC and ESCA are the cancer types where PAAF1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
