Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, P2RY8 RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated P2RY8 data layer compared with 6 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher P2RY8 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated P2RY8 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and HNSC show a favorable association.

KIRC, HNSC, and SKCM are the cancer types where P2RY8 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
