Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OXCT1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated OXCT1 data layer compared with 17 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), where higher OXCT1 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OXCT1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as GBM and PDAC show a favorable association.

GBM, HNSC, and PDAC are the cancer types where OXCT1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
