Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OSBPL7 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated OSBPL7 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher OSBPL7 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OSBPL7 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD show a favorable association.
UCEC, COAD, and LGG are the cancer types where OSBPL7 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
