Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR9A3P RNA is linked to patient survival in 17 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated OR9A3P data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher OR9A3P RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OR9A3P expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and THYM show a favorable association.

HNSC, OV, and CESC are the cancer types where OR9A3P RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
