Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR8Q1P RNA is linked to patient survival in 9 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated OR8Q1P data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher OR8Q1P RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OR8Q1P expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA and SKCM show a favorable association.

KICH, BRCA, and OV are the cancer types where OR8Q1P RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
