Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR7C1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated OR7C1 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher OR7C1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OR7C1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.

HNSC, GBM, and UCEC are the cancer types where OR7C1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
