Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR7A1P RNA is linked to patient survival in 16 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated OR7A1P data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher OR7A1P RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OR7A1P expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CESC and HNSC show a favorable association.
KICH, STAD, and CESC are the cancer types where OR7A1P RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
