Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR5B2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated OR5B2 data layer compared with 11 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher OR5B2 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OR5B2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and LUSC show a favorable association.
UCEC, LGG, and ESCA are the cancer types where OR5B2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
