Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR2S2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated OR2S2 data layer compared with 12 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher OR2S2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OR2S2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
LIHC, PRAD, and SKCM are the cancer types where OR2S2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
