Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR2L5 RNA is linked to patient survival in 14 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated OR2L5 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher OR2L5 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OR2L5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LGG and LIHC show a favorable association.

KIRP, LUSC, and SARC are the cancer types where OR2L5 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
