Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR2D2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated OR2D2 data layer compared with 16 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher OR2D2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OR2D2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
STAD, ESCA, and PRAD are the cancer types where OR2D2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
