Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OR10AE3P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 2 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of OR10AE3P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where OR10AE3P RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types OR10AE3P is over-expressed in tumor.
KIRP and LIHC are the cancer types where OR10AE3P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
