Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OPTC Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated OPTC data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher OPTC Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OPTC expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

BLCA, UCEC, and ESCA are the cancer types where OPTC Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
