Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OPA3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated OPA3 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher OPA3 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OPA3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
ESCA, KICH, and BLCA are the cancer types where OPA3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
