Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OLFM5P RNA is linked to patient survival in 17 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated OLFM5P data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher OLFM5P RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OLFM5P expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and UCS show a favorable association.

SKCM, LGG, and UCS are the cancer types where OLFM5P RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
