Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OAT mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated OAT data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher OAT mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OAT expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as GBM and HNSC show a favorable association.

CCRCC, GBM, and COAD are the cancer types where OAT mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
