Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OAS3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated OAS3 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher OAS3 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OAS3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SKCM, PRAD, and LUAD are the cancer types where OAS3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
