Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NXT1-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated NXT1-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher NXT1-AS1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NXT1-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as READ and UCS show a favorable association.

MESO, KIRP, and ACC are the cancer types where NXT1-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
