Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NXPE4 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NXPE4 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher NXPE4 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NXPE4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD show a favorable association.
COAD are the cancer types where NXPE4 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
