Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NXF5 RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated NXF5 data layer compared with 9 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine carcinosarcoma (UCS), where higher NXF5 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NXF5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and ACC show a favorable association.
UCS, ACC, and ESCA are the cancer types where NXF5 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
