Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NWD1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 12 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NWD1 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where higher NWD1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NWD1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD show a favorable association.
THCA, LIHC, and BLCA are the cancer types where NWD1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
