Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NUMBL Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NUMBL data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher NUMBL Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NUMBL expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
COAD, UCEC, and SCLC are the cancer types where NUMBL Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
