Across TCGA patient cohorts, NUMBL mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 1,376 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible NUMBL-associated genes across cancer lineages are MIR375, GGCTP3, and SMR3B. Each is linked with NUMBL in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both NUMBL-to-partner and partner-to-NUMBL results are reported.
