Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NTRK3 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NTRK3 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 9 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher NTRK3 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NTRK3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
HNSC and UCEC are the cancer types where NTRK3 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
