Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NTMT1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NTMT1 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher NTMT1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NTMT1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SKCM are the cancer types where NTMT1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
