Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NTF3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NTF3 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in thymoma (THYM), where higher NTF3 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NTF3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and LUSC show a favorable association.
THYM, SKCM, and LUSC are the cancer types where NTF3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
