Across TCGA patient cohorts, NSMCE2 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 1,005 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible NSMCE2-associated genes across cancer lineages are RN7SL123P, RNA5SP411, and RNA5SP412. Each is linked with NSMCE2 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both NSMCE2-to-partner and partner-to-NSMCE2 results are reported.
