Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NSFL1C mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NSFL1C data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher NSFL1C mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NSFL1C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and HNSC show a favorable association.

LUAD, HNSC, and PDAC are the cancer types where NSFL1C mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
