Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NSA2P5 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 6 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of NSA2P5’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where NSA2P5 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types NSA2P5 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as BRCA and UCEC show the opposite, repressed pattern.
BRCA, UCEC, and THCA are the cancer types where NSA2P5 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
