Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NRF1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NRF1 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lymphoid neoplasm diffuse large b-cell lymphoma (DLBC), where higher NRF1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NRF1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD show a favorable association.
DLBC, BRCA, and BLCA are the cancer types where NRF1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
