Across TCGA cell cohorts, NRCAM RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 3,340 significant associations in total. SKIN shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible NRCAM-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Regulation of release of sequestered calcium ion into cytosol by sarcoplasmic reticulum, Unsaturated fatty acid biosynthetic process, and Clustering of voltage-gated sodium channels. Each is linked with NRCAM in more than 7 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both NRCAM-to-partner and partner-to-NRCAM results are reported.
