Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NQO2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated NQO2 data layer compared with 5 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher NQO2 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NQO2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as THYM and CESC show a favorable association.
KICH, THYM, and MESO are the cancer types where NQO2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
