Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NQO1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated NQO1 data layer compared with 2 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher NQO1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NQO1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SARC and PRAD show a favorable association.
UVM, ACC, and UCS are the cancer types where NQO1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
