Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NPY2R RNA is linked to patient survival in 17 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated NPY2R data layer compared with 5 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher NPY2R RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NPY2R expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and THYM show a favorable association.

KICH, CESC, and LUAD are the cancer types where NPY2R RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
